1. Where are you based?

We offer nationwide horse riding lessons across the UK through our trusted network of riding stables.

📍 Once you register, we match you to the closest suitable stable in your area.

  • ​Most riders are allocated within approximately a 3-mile radius of their location

  • If you are based in a rural or low-availability area, we will assign the nearest available stable within our network

2. Are sessions for brothers and sisters?

Yes. We organise:

  • Brothers-only groups

  • Sisters-only groups

👉 All sessions are booked as private group slots specifically for our riders.

We work closely with stables to request:

​

  • Gender-Segregated group sessions

  • A comfortable and respectful environment for Muslim participants

​

⚠️ Important

While your lesson group itself is segregated, we cannot guarantee that other individuals (e.g staff or riders from separate bookings) will not be present elsewhere on site.

 

However:

  • Stables are typically large and spread out

  • Your session is conducted within your privately booked group slot

  • All arrangements are made in line with our requested requirements and preferences

3. What is the age range?

We cater for:

  • Children (approx. 5+)

  • Teens

  • Adults

👉 Groups are organised by age and ability where possible.

4. Are beginners welcome?

Yes — most of our riders are beginners.

You will be placed in a suitable beginner-friendly group with full guidance.

5. How long is the course?

This is a flexible programme, not a fixed course.

You can:

  • Join for single sessions, or

  • Continue weekly as part of your development

6. How much do group riding lessons cost?

Prices vary depending on your city and local stable.

👉 All lessons are priced in line with trusted local riding centres in your area.

Typical UK guide:

  • Core cities (Birmingham, Manchester, Coventry, Cardiff): £30 – £50

  • Lower-cost areas: £25 – £40

  • Higher-cost areas (London, Slough): £50 – £70

🕐 Beginner sessions are typically 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the rider and stable.

👉 Final pricing is confirmed before booking.

7. What if I want private 1-to-1 lessons?

Private lessons are available in selected locations.

👉 All private sessions are priced in line with trusted local riding centres.

Typical guide:

  • Core cities: £30 – £75

  • Lower-cost areas: £25 – £65

  • Higher-cost areas (London): £80 – £120+

🕐 Sessions are usually 30, 45, or 60 minutes.

8. When do sessions start?

We are currently enrolling for Summer 2026 ☀️

You will be offered the next available slot near you.

9. How do I book?

To get started:

  1. Click the registration link on our website

  2. Complete your rider details

  3. Submit your application

  4. We will match you to a suitable stables

  5. You will receive your available options and pricing

  6. Confirm your session

10. Is there a registration fee?

​

Yes - a £30 Sunnah Sports Membership is required.

​

This:

  • Secures your place in our horse riding network

  • Covers admin and placement

  • Is valid for 12 months

  • Provides member benefits on any Sunnah Sports Horse Riding events

11. Is there limited space?

Yes — spaces are limited and allocated in small groups to ensure quality and safety.

👉 We recommend registering early to avoid missing out.

12. Can I book with friends or family?

​

Yes — you can request to ride together.

  • You can include friends, siblings, or family members in your booking

  • Simply add all riders during registration or include their names in your request

  • We will aim to place you in the same group where possible

👉 Please note:

  • Group placement depends on:

    • Availability

    • Age range

    • Riding level

  • In some cases, riders may be placed in separate but nearby sessions

👉 Important:
Group requests must be submitted at the time of registration. We cannot guarantee changes after allocation.

 

Can I wear my abaya while riding?

Yes — modest dress is welcome, and many riders choose to wear an abaya.

We inform all stables of our religious requirements and preference for modest dress, and work with centres that are respectful of this.

👉 For safety, you may be asked to:

  • Tuck in loose garments, or

  • Adjust clothing to ensure it does not interfere with riding equipment

This is standard practice to ensure a safe and controlled riding experience.
